This hands-on workshop teaches skills for identifying different types of photographic processes. We will hone our observation skills, learn some technical vocabulary, and discuss the importance of preservation. We will also consider how different photographic formats and contexts of display--from exhibitions to publications--shape the way we understand photographs.
